Thank you for your informative videos My Myrtillocactus geometrizans developed rot at the bottom, so I cut it, removing ALL the yellow/brown I set it aside to callous over, but now the cutting has developed yellow/brown at the bottom AGAIN! Does anyone know what I should do? I don't want to lose this The bottom is also very soft I didn't do the sulfur powder :( Should I cut it again? I'm wondering if it has some kind of disease now

This looks a lot like brown rot which can be caused by fungal or bacterial infection, I had it on one of my myrtillocacti once I would keep the top part away from other plants just in case Good luck with all of your beautiful plants

So nice news for the first one From what i know is a cold damage And i have seen some people leave it and not cutting it and the cactus was ok I think you must keep it and try to root it

Seems to me the orange can be:bra burn or a winter burn, if not, a bacterial infection, but as you say it is firm and looks mostly healthy so dry it and plant it Here in Mexico my plants are having sun burns while the light is shifting in early spring, good luck with those cuttings!
