as far as i know your gpu is docked so you dont need to connect a hdmi as the screen is intergrated with the motherboard

It'll help alot if you could help I have a hp notebook with i5 6200u with a dedicate and a igpu I want to install my PC's GPU bcuz awhile ago my PC's motherboard and CPU is dead and I wanna use my GPU to utilize for some gaming my laptop's motherboard is 81EC can u tell me if my laptop's motherboard is supported I don't see a switchable graphics option in my laptop's bios *edit- i wanna use a rx 580 8gb it's the same brand as my laptop's dedicated gpu

So can I do this with an Old HP laptop? I want to give it a lil boost to a buddy that wants to play League of legends The HP laptop I want to hook it up to is pretty damn slow but not extremely slow but anyway it doesnt run the game very well hoping If i do this it'll make the loading times faster etc Im not a big computer guy like with specific parts btw if u couldnt tell lol If someone can comment, would be very much appreciated

With that setup in bios you just told the pc to display using the the internal gpu you can make to use the integrated monitor but you need to have the mobile driver version for the gpu
