You don't need to use the plumbers tape from a professional paint standpoint it breaks up over time and goes on your paint job The stock seal is plenty for 35 PSI Rest was excellent 👌👌

Your awesome, a higher quality regulator won't shoot way up, and if you pit it on the other side of your hose it will minimize that Also please show the proper way to wrap thread tape

ProTip, instead of starting away from you and spraying towards you, start close and go away from you this will push overspray off your product Also a oil/water filter is a must for spraying love your videos keep up the good work

I paint and do bodywork, she never said a word on setting up the air pressure settings or how to set up the fluid control And never said a work on over lapping Over lap at least 50not a good video for beginners!!!

I enjoyed your video It was very informative and well-detailed I just wanted to add one thing: you will need to adjust the spray gun settings depending on the type of paint you are using This includes paint, primer, base coat, and clear coat For example, you will need to use a lower air pressure and more fluid for a thicker paint like enamel, while you can use a higher air pressure and less fluid for a thinner paint like latex Also, make sure that the spray gun you are using is compatible with the type of paint you want to use Not all spray guns can handle all types of paint For example, an airless spray gun is not ideal for spraying latex paint, while an HVLP spray gun is not ideal for spraying oil-based paint while some can be used

I have a regular small artist airbrush for smaller artwork, but I'm now looking to use this type gun for larger mural artwork How do I adjust the PATTERN on this type gun from a ver/horiz line to a round 'dot'? I understand about distance from surface making differences

Matching the gun to the compressor is important if you're priming/painting medium to large things If you're just priming or painting small parts, you can get away with having a higher volume gun than your compressor supports You'll just have to take mini breaks between parts

the proper name the type of plumbers tape she was is actually called Teflon tape,not plumbers tapes, because there are multiple types plumber tapes ranging various types of materials, secondly the plug she was talking about is not called a plug,because if it was a plug,there wouldn't be a hole in it and air shouldn't be able to pass through it, because that's what a "plug" is designed to do is to stop the flow of air, the proper name is called a air hose quick disconnect, the one she happens to be using is 1/4 fnpt

Another little trick is if you accidentally put too much pain on and it's running you can cut the paint off and blow air only close to it and it will help spread it out

Hey Leah quick question for you I have a husky siphon general purpose gun and looking at air compressors I am undecided and not sure what to get Im a wood worker/DIY er thanks to many of your videos honestly and am looking to just do some occasional HVLP painting and staining/sealing with varnishes etc My husky gun states needs 45 scfm at 90 psi and on the box it says 27 gal minimum tank I was looking at several affordable single stage compressors but not looking to spend a small fortune as I explained my uses Ideally I would love this compressor to have light moderate use with some air tools like if needed to change out the wheels on my car i could do that quickly with an air impact wrench but nothing too crazy Im not painting cars or anything that excessive Some options i was looking into were the 26 gal Kobalt quiet tech compressor which is 150 max PSI, 45 SCFM @ 90 PSI, the fortress 27 gal high performance which states 200 PSI 51 SCFM at 90 PSI, the 26 gal fortress ultra quiet compressor which states 175 max PSI and 45 SCFM @ 90 PSI Not sure what your opinion is on any of those i mentioned If you feel those wont be a good fit, im open to any and all suggestions Another point to make was that, i know i mentioned my husky paint gun states min 27 gal tank but if i got a 26 gal hypothetically would that 1 gallon throw everything off or no depending on PSI max output?
