It’s 2024 and I use my iPhone SE 2016 (Space Grey) 64GB daily… it only has overheating issues and the battery drains fast (I use it heavy with gaming) over all its a bang for the buck if you want a smaller phone or just can’t afford a newer iPhone Only downside is some app require iOS 16 but it runs iOS 15 very fine actually Overall 10/10 phone!! 2:50

Got a 64gb as a secondary phone in great condition for 30 bucks and the phone is simply beautiful compared to the newer releases I let my kids use it and I use it as my media device since it still has a headphone jack and it's a great music player due to the size

iOS 15 is a bit difficult system for those older models, that's why it's a bit slow, it would be better not to upgrade the software, it's better to stay on the previous version or even on iOS 13, up to iOS 13 can be tolerated as much as possible, and iOS 15 is still slow for that type of device but all in all, 15 can pass somewhat, although I would never upgrade, compare SE 2016 with the same one that is on iOS 13, and you will see the difference in operating speed, iOS 13 will be faster than iOS 15 in every sense

I do wish some of the older iphones like the iphone 7 and 8 had 3gb of ram and even the se 1st generation bc with 3gbs of ram it would be much better

They iphone se is faster than they iphone 7 even on ios 15 as well as I was able to play 2-3 hour of pubg n call of duty which is insane on such a high graphic game as well as the phone doesn't heat up as bad as it did on ios 12,13 n 14 They 6s is weird on ios 15 n they ipad air 2 n mini 4 r laggy on ios 15

I’m still using the SE 1st generation on ios 14 as my main phone since August 2016 Not really a gamer, I usually do text, facebook, messenger, youtube, IG and twitter It usually lasts for 5 to 6 hours Havent replaced the battery yet, it’s in 80 I love that it is still a pretty decent phone
