I love that this scene never talks down to you, you don't get Peter going on about how "his powers must not be working because well duh he's all stressed up!", it's not subtle about it at all but it has enough self respect and respect for the audience as to just let it play naturally

I remember when I first saw him lose his powers I thought they were setting up the Man Spider storyline from the 90’s cartoon I grew up watching and his losing the will to fight was what’ll speed up the process I really hope one day we get a live action (or Movie version of any kind) adaptation of the Man Spider, it would be really cool and terrifying to watch
