1 change I made was on the bottom linear chassis at back was I stuck a seat on so I could ride with the drill

you can make a protected means of transport inside the tunnel too, just make an extension of the platform under the cobblestone tunnel

trying to build this literally made me rage quit for some reason the contraption on top of the minecart is swivelling on an axis and it doesn't tunnel straight and just cuts wildly around itself as it moves Oh, and the sinks through the floor What a buggy modbrbredit: I have had time to cool off and come back to this No idea what was wrong with my last attempt but, this time I made my own design, loosely based on the one in this tutorial It's more basic and probably not as good But it works If at first you don't succeed, try and try again

Tried it in 1182 with Create 05, and it's absolutely useless It moved forward a couple blocks before stopping because it never placed anything down I tried picking it up so I could get my rails and coal back, but they were all gone

thanks, works perfectly also, for anyone trying this now, you dont need to make linear chassis sticky to stick to itself anymore, you only need it for other blocks, so you only need to make it sticky for the drills, plough and deployers

Pro tip if you play a pack that adds more stone types: use a normal filter instead with all the cobble types for the deployers, I ran out of normal cobble and ended up in a giant cave lol brbrOr an attribute filter set to stone but the normal filters are cheaper

So if I did the math correctly, the contraption can go for around 146 (minutes give or take a few) before getting full So about 10 coal that it uses(give or take aswell depending on lake frequency) It seems to move at 5m/s and mines 125 blocks/s, with furnace minecarts being powerd for 180s per coal it also places 25 blocks/s to surround the cart I hope I did this correctly lol, but I think its at least somewhat accurate

Ok I had 'fun' tweaking this I decided I did not want to have to chase it down after it had been running so I changed the tunnel from 1x2 to a 3x2 and added a little arm on one side with some glass blocks to give myself a little carrying cage so it takes me with it and protects me from whatever might spawn behind me in the dark and yes, getting it to start is a PAIN

Can you set a filter so that it can use a range of solid block types to create the tunnel? This modpack has a mining dimension with multiple types of rock, cannot guarantee having enough of one specific type for the whole tunnelbrbralternatively, could you feed one chest from the modpack's cobblestone generator ?

I made the mistake of making this (Well a mushroom farming machine but same sort of thing) inside and tore half my base apart, including a bunch of redstone that made it very hard to actually get it off the minecart Lesson learnt

In the most current mod version, the chassis will stick together, as long as they are the same type, without the use of slime You still need the slime to attach anything that is not the same type of chassis block

I'm finding that it also works great in the Nether provided you set the filters to the predominant material you are going through (Basalt or Netherrack) The only problem I've run into in the Nether is that it seems to glitch out if it gets too far away from you and fails to lay blocks and rails and sinks down by one block If you stay with it that doesn't seem to happen Not sure why Takes a few extra ticks but it even scoops of Ancient Debris so that's a nice bonus I've been using it to mine but also to run a subway system Take off the back part so it doesn't collect rails and you can "program" it by the number of rails you put into it Once they are used up it stops and you have a ready made rail line Planning to modify it to have it drop double wide rails one of these days so I can have complete loop systems

This really showcases the power of the minecart assembler I am so impressed by this mod and your design I wonder if you could also have it deploy torches every so often?brbrI'm working on a portable windmill using the minecart assembler, in order to be able to quickly have power when I arrive in a new location, with storage and a pulley drill attached which can dig down to diamond level right away It's so fun!

After having seen this I have a challenge for you, create a mobile base One that continues to move and only stops long enough for you to build new additions I'd like to believe that create can handle things like belts and such added onto something liek this to automate whiel moving

We can also add some seats in it so we can afk safely and if we added deployers with a specific block around the whole thing it would work as tunnel maker too

I think the drills are placed sideways bc it's trying to line up the shafts on the sides of the deployer and the back of the drill
