I tried to upgrade to catalina, I'm running Yosemite on macbook pro 2010 (Intel), I could prepare the usb drive with the patcher but it's not shown during the boot, after pressing option key Can someone help ? Thanks in advance

every time ive done this, the final reboot leads to an empty porgress bar with apple logo and it goes no further Very frustrating

This worked great! For some reason I cannot install and successfully launch Chrome as my browser Is there something I forgot? HELP! Also Do I need to keep the Catalina installer flash drive in the computer or can I run it ok without it plugged in?

Hi Colin You helped me 3 or so years ago with the mojave patcher on my 3,1 I have upgraded to a 5,1 and put your catalina patcher on it Everything is running good even with the ATI Radeon HD 5770 1gb GPU except for when I use VLC The screen flashes It's the same predicament as with the 3,1 so I did the post install and ticked the legacy GPU and restarted but VLC still flickers I will be upgrading the GPU in the future however, do you think it's the card? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello Colin, thanks for your great work One quick question please I updated my Mac Pro (3,1) to macOS 10136 via your method Please tell me how I can enable SIP now My Mac would not run from the recovery disk (10136), I get a grey screen with a NO symbol If there is a step-by-step guide of how to enable SIP after using your method to upgrade the OS, could you please let me know Many thanks!

I've run the patcher about 8 times, and the USB (which I've exchanged) is never rendered bootable I follow ever instruction including making the USB extended journaled Which I verify, but post running the patcher, it is no longer journaledAny suggestions?
