I had the same issue as you with adding the dimmer to my app Only resetting the device didn't solve the problem for me at all Even when resetting (and removing the battery) it only blinks red once and never a few times

I wish they would swap out those button batteries for just normal AA or AAA batteries so we could use rechargeable batteries

The V2 of these are absolute rubbish I have several V1 that connect effortlessly but with these V2 they simply will not connect, no matter what I try and yes, used the reset button Have 2 now and they're useless

When the lights are on and the remote is idle, when you press the hue button, does it change the scene after the first or the second press? Mine changes on the second press as if the first press wakes up the remote I would like to know if this is normal Thank you

The good:-br- Fits perfectly into/over a standard UK light switch fittingbrbrThe bad:-br- The new style of plate is different to the existing Hue Smart Button style, so if you put them next to each other, the face plates differ in size/style (eg: logo is different colour) Hopefully a V2 Smart Button plate will sync up the sizes/styles of backplates
