I was showing my rasp file dagger to a machinist Before grinding, I thought I did a good annealing He did a file test and said I should anneal it and not quench it The file is already so hard, quenching it will only make it brittle…Thanks for any input

Así como critico algo mal echo, así también doy reconocimiento a algo bien echo, todos los que hacen cuchillos siempre comprueban el filo cortando un papel y la realidad es que no se ocupa mucho filo para cortar un papel, la verdadera prueba es la de razurado, si se lleva los vellos está a la altura de una navaja de barbero, te felicito muy buen filo agarra ese cuchillo tiene el templado en su punto exacto
