Ali Talib
I know I'm 3 years late, but if you ever see this, can I use another audio source to replace the MIDI? lets say if I have a mic up there or an mp3 player, can I still use the synth to manipulate sound?

Hugh Man
I´ve build it twice, one with Arduino nano and one with Arduino UNO and everytime it doesnt work , doublechecked everything :(

Adam Posegate
Is there a way to plug a midi controller via USB? My midi keyboard does not have a midi port
Comment from : Adam Posegate

bluebluebluebird
Great stuff! Sorry I missed it live I think adding a midi out and thru would help keep the notes from resetting overtime they are triggered Also, you'd be able to capture your pots parameters for refinement

Why are so many electronic guys also musicians
Comment from : 702 702

Simon Goderis
will the code also work for an arduino UNO?

At 51:30 you set dipswatchinstalled, you have it set to true, but you have ALL of the switches code commented out //brSo why are you getting sound out, and what do they do if you UN-comment them out in the code from the switches?

David Carr
Dave, I noticed that you used 10K pots in this project as opposed to the 5k pots in the original granular synth project Any comment?

Ronald Moetwil
Hi Dave, brLove your video'sbrbrI made the Uno and Nano version, but with both I can't get midi to workbrbrWhen sending midi (I tried all channels), I read about 002-003 volt on the midi side But no changes in voltage on the other side 497-498v when sending and not sending any midi Should there be?brbrCould it be I'm using the the wrong 6N138's I got these on Amazon: 6N138-ISO Optocoupler THT Channels1 Out isolation amplifier DIP8 6N138 ISOCOMbrbrI'm gonna try some basic midi tutorials on a breadboard to see if that's working
Comment from : Ronald Moetwil

Martin Nielsen
