The young man that took his own horrifically challenging condition as an opportunity not make his own life better, but the lives of complete strangers is the physical embodiment of the phrase "adversity is the mother of all invention" to a completely new level To see a child suffering like that is horrendous for all, but human suffering has been one of the main catalyst for medical advancements throughout history God or whatever creator you choose to put your faith in, has a reason for every single person he creates He just chooses to make the absolute strongest of us show that life can be worth living regardless of medical/physical limitations We should all respect each other accordingly Is it incredibly sad to see anyone suffer, especially a child? Absolutely But we shouldn't make assumptions that the person suffering has no quality of life or that they are miserable 100 of the time If possible and appropriate, take the time to speak with or observe and you might be shocked just how fulfilling their life is despite medical or physical restrictions
