I invest 5 of my total portfolio to Crypto The other 95 is invested mainly in index funds, and blue chip stocks If I'm wrong about crypto, and it goes to 0, it's not gonna kill me

Hi EM, just to comment on your slightly misguided description on crypto currency It has little to do with “digital” currency - and does not compare to a fiat currency being equally “digital” Crypto is about decentralization and applications build on a decentralized platform The value of such application is what should be evaluated But I agree - there are a lot of shitty coins in circulation…

I disagree there’s definitely a ton of garbage cryptos out there that will fade into nothing, but there’s some that are actually building digital infrastructure with the block chain, smart contracts, lending and borrowing, etc, so the good ones are essentially stocks for a system that programs will run on I agree that the vast majority are garbage though, the name “cryptocurrency” is disingenuous
