I guess I'm confusedthe 18 gratuity I pay for the Dining and drink packages isn't considered a tip? I think a tip is literally defined as a gratuity So, in a sense, the gratuity ia being taken regardless of the serviceand they want more? What's adequate? 18 plus how much more?

Can you PLEASE do a comprehensive video about tipping for passengers that are from countries like Australia that do not have this It has so many intricacies Who to tip, when to tip how much to tip, when not to tip, do you tip when there is a gratuities levy already applied? I find this incredibly confusing and have been known to take my own luggage at hotels because I don’t know how this works I Don want to be rude but I can’t work out the rules When you grow up with this it must become second nature but for others, it is a minefield of anxiety 😮

These tips are to benefit crew, give us more money, don't bother us because you didn't take care of things beforehand Also, not getting sunburn is common sense, not a profound useful tip

Tips in the United States is a sales commission for the employee that is doing the work When you do not tip, you are saying the employee is bad at the job, remember you get what you pay for Unless your on welfare

being rude to the crew, the guys that have to deal with any fires or flooding yeah that is real smart They also cook your food, and you cannot see what they are doing Plus, once in a while in the navy a annoying crew member would fall off the ship, it happens a lot more with passengers the drunk ones like to dive The longer the crew members take to notice your swimming in the ocean, the more time the sharks have to test you for tastiness

As an avid cruiser, here's my tip to the staff: We are so grateful for your service, and we do tip above and beyond; however, do not BEG for tipsdon't mention that nobody tips you, etcthat's just tacky and uncalled for- laying a guilt trip on the person trying to enjoy vacation I'll tip more if I'm not asked /guilted to I'll tip less if it's mentioned
