I find so many things that are on the coins and one in which is more than anyone realizes Comment from : @gregbjelland4754 |
That’s true the more you can learn the better off you are and I was impressed with some of the things that you had showed me on what you had done those coins to make them look like you know, there were rare or special cones that were made like that from the factory But now since I seen what you talking about, makes a lot more sense is those type of people that making it hard for the people like me and other that we’re trying to do this the right way you know it sucks not right, but life ain’t always right, but hopefully that’ll put a stop to a lot of it so anyway thank you for the video and good luck to you Comment from : @jameswelch809 |

I do have a question in all seriousness I'm just starting to get into this I've been collecting coins for a long time my whole life really I'm just now starting to actually learn about them But how can anyone say that this doesn't happen at the mint or that doesn't happen at the mint when the mint printed a coin on a steel washer And people can say oh it was by accident blah blah blah but come on now the steel washer weighed exactly the same is the coin it was supposed to be printed on so that way the machines didn't pick up the error or whatever happens on that end I don't know The whole mint errors things seems like a sus conspiracy imo I was reading another article about how the head of the mint back in the day apparently had some error coins that were printed and he gave one of them to his daughter but she spent it on ice cream like a million dollars and he told her to hang on to it till she got older but she didn't Error to mint worker to friend or family to "discovered" years later and worth millions But ALLLLLL the other f'd up coins DEFINITELY werent mint errors Nope no way😂 By the way I'm not trying to be rude with this comment I'm just kind of a realist and if you think about itplus i trust my farts after taco tuesday more than i trust the govt on any level lol Comment from : @djsearles4684 |

the people at the top of this hobby can just proclaim whatever new error they find as the new hot error coin to have and all of a sudden that coin is worth money lol no hobby on earth has this kind of corrupt greedy group at the top that has the ability create demand for something based off there reputation and opinion Comment from : @chattifactory |
"I own em, I have em, I can create em" I felt that br When I was young, I would be amazed at anything different about a coin I agree, when uneducated about the way coins are minted, it's very easy to think a coin has an error Personally it was easier to deal with the disappointment of being wrong when you learn how coins are minted vs being told every single error you find is not an error brThank you man for really trying to teach people the right way to collect, not by telling them what to collect, but more like what to avoid when collecting I hope that all made sense lol Have a great weekend Daniel Comment from : @b12y5e |

Half way through the video, the coin with the hole in the center looks like it was shot with a 22 caliber gun and that’s why the reverse had a nipple type protrusion to it My husband has several just like that one, ones that he shot with a 22 rifle himself They look identical to yours unless yours have the drill marks scratch inside the rim of the hole Amazing the damage coins endure You video was very helpful thank you Comment from : @pattyrutledge01 |

well broad struck errors can fetch a lot of money, yet they can MADE at hokejjfi Comment from : @swish1onu |
I’m an absolute beginner and wouldn’t think twice about any of those coins It’s pretty clear the difference between mint errors and sanding or drilling or filing I’m sure you’re making this video for the more… hopeful… Beginners but none of those would have fooled me On the other hand in another video you stated what someone thought was a double die was actually die wear or something of the sort I’d like to see some examples of that as I have quite a few coins I think may be double die but it’s more like “letters outlined slightly off” if that makes sense Edit:Edit: now watching the video you made about this question Thanks!! Comment from : @davidjeffers6339 |
Great video, you are teaching me so much about coin collectingKeep up the great work Comment from : @richwahl9423 |
I'm All with you on making fraudulent ebay scammers, fake coin, fake errors, etcbr Yeah The fakes are way too prevalent in this hobby going to collecting has become more of a watch your back for an incoming stab situation than having fun doing something I enjoy Nowadays it's very hard to tell the difference between The fakes and the real coin They have gotten that good at it I have to go through and test everything I have purchased over the past 22 years Just to make sure that my silver was silver in my errors were errors and my old Morgan's are actually Morgan's There are so many way too many fakes out there It's a real shame that people have to harm other people to make a dollar Comment from : @bruceedginton3139 |
