Some locations on the way from SF to LA are in very sketchy areas Lacking basic facilities, restrooms and safety I hope Tesla figures out a way for each charging station on I-5 to have at least restroom, or encourage businesses to operate connivance stores similar to stores at gas stations

Had mine 2 years and still haven’t used a supercharger They’re hard on your batteries and degrade them faster every time you use them They do make long distance travel possible but I refuse to use one If I need to travel long distance, I’m going to the plane port

Been using the superchargers since 2016 and they have always been reliable I still love my MS and looks like new even with 130,000 miles Only thing I miss is that tesla wave, and chatting with other tesla owners at the chargers

That's how it's done! I remember using the first SCs It was like being a pioneer In typical Tesla fashion, the scale and execution is a game changer Lower range vehicles can travel long distances pretty easily It's nice too have 400 Mike range plus but you can long distance travel with much less

It’s great if you’re just traveling to cities In Eastern, Wa state there’s a ton of places I still can’t go The EPA rating is also a joke Get some real world testing done My model Y with the configuration I purchased is rated to go 318 miles and I can barley get 220 miles on a 70 degree day with no wind, no hills, and traveling 55mph Based on actual Wh/mi at supercharging stations I’m paying as much or more as a Toyota Corolla would I’ve had the car about 2 months and there’s already all kinds of annoying rattles The only benefit I’m seeing so far is that the car looks nice I wouldn’t recommend the model Y to anyone at this point in time
