Ok so I actually started to open up more to my friends about my fear of rejection instead of bottling all up, looking stoic from the outside but panicking on the inside so what happened was, they felt uncomfortable, not knowing how to react and suggesting me therapy and later distanced themselves from me like not texting as frequently as usually and my fear of rejection was like "see? told ya no one really likes you" Comment from : bloom |

I noticed that i have anxiety since last year all though I'm 20 years old It started became of academics and I became a slow learner by the time so my teachers dragged me alot for that So i got private tutors for myself but I'm having a hard time focusing on my private classes as well because I'm slow and it takes time for me to solve problems during classes but I'm pretty good at solving questions when I'm alone self studying Yes my private tutors get mad at me for not being able to do anything correctly I'm just scared to attend my private classes as well idk how I can overcome this Comment from : lemmebeurs |

May seem unimportant to most, but don’t underestimate the power of caffeine in worsening social anxiety and anxiety in general as well as other things you’re consuming (medications, food, drink, drugs etc) More of a holistic approach but when I’m able to stick to a healthy balance the anxiety and overthinking is more muted Comment from : Dan1333 |

What truly scared me was my anxiety physically manifesting as muscle twitches on my face during my final grade presentation I wasn't even allowed to keep my mask on and the whole time I was aware of my face, and still had to carry on I gave up on my grades because the fear was getting too much to handle So I said the wrong things, knowing that I was saying the wrong things and got out of the room quick It was unbearable and definitely not something I wanna do again I've done so many class presentations before this one, mostly failures Funny part is, no amount of exposure therapy helps you get over new situations Comment from : Irma Lair |
