My usual loadout is a silenced weapon that has either a reflex sight or no sight like a pistol with a stock for this medium range encounters A shotgun of some type to reck up close And a rifle that has a long range scope and a silencer I tend to go the more stealthy route and only fire when absolutely necessary

Tip for keeping guns clean! Avoid deep water and mud, especially when it's deep enough that it splashes you Thats an easy to miss way to get your gun dirty Also some enemies will get a gun dirty, like the shrimps projectile attacks Lastly I think weather also makes them dirty, so maybe try to keep inside during rain or sprint or change time if you can The game says that cleaning removes dirt and water that's managed to get in the gunbrbrPersonally I love that I have to be careful to keep my gun clean I've never seen a game that treats weapon wear based on environment like this And it makes sense the guns are so sensitive to dirt and water, as they're makeshift or old and worn Sometimes both

It will save you some chemicals if the enemy is caring the same kind of gun such as kalash Swap the guns from the enemy and just re install your mods Works great if your gun is completely covered in dirt
