Also, experience shows me that doing anything this repetitive is asking for overuse injuries You have to change angles etc or you’re going to develop some pain, unless your age starts with twenty or ends with teen And by the time you notice it your in for weeks to fix it

I just started working out like few weeks ago and im doing 220 push ups a day 20x3 three times and 20x2 once, plank three times a day for 2 minutes and every other day bicep curls 3x10 Dont have time to go to the gym for another month or so so I decided to get some excersice done before that Is there something I should add to this?

I had a weird experience doing push-ups when I was in 6th grade My goal had been sets of 50, and when I could do that comfortably, I went to sets of 60 That maxed me out at that timebrbrExcept this one time when I reached 60 and just kept going Didn’t feel tired, no pain, no burning sensation, nothing It was like I weighed as much as a pencil I did hundreds of pushups in that one set I don’t even know how many because I stopped counting because it was almost boring I only stopped because I was worried I might be injuring myself, something clearly wasn’t normalbrbrAnd I was never able to repeat that Ever afterwards, 60 per set was my maximum, just like before that one weird daybrbrAnyone have any explanation for that? How did I go from 60 to unlimited, and why was I never able to do that again?

Even the 5 rep short of failure is a LIMIT, which the body can get used to!!! The point of the videos of 50 push ups a day, or 100 push ups a day is NOT to have a scientific, "lab" approach, what you're trying to explain hereis simply to get out of the scrolling, and videogames all day approach and do something CONSISTENTLY at least for a month! When anyone who doesn't do any exercise whatsoever, the 50-100 pushup a day is a MAJOR improvement if they do it for a MONTH! From there on, if they disciplined enough can go higher, more consistent and VARIED exercises, the POINT here is get lazy people to BREAK their bad habits as opposed to be scientific like you areof course there is endless ways, tricks, tips!!! But you're picking on videos, which just want to inspire lazy people to at least do SOMETHING for a MONTH!!!!

I don’t think it’s ever good to do one exercise every day, regardless of it being five reps short of your max, each set, or not It’s always better to take a day or two off, in between exercises like this and let your muscle recover and grow a little bit I think it’s especially important as you get older

Thanks I thought by not pushing myself I was being a Pussy I was doing 250 pushups in sets of 50 , 300 sit ups in sets of 60 And 225 squats in sets of 45 Basically prolonged burpies But when I found that happy medium is when I truly progressed I knew it wasn't good to over do it Thanks
