You've got the facts wrong on the game's predecessors Multiple times you refer to Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive as the second game when it was the first Desperados game released in 2001 The sequel released in 2006 was named Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge

This game sounds really good Although it’s not the first RTT that lets you pause to coordinate different characters, Star Trek: Away Team did that in 2001, and I’m pretty sure Shadow Company did it as well in 1999

I used to play the heck out of Desperados 1 and 2 back in the day Love the complex strategies you can orchestrate and there was nothing more satisfying than having all your tactics go off without a hitch Can't wait to get back into this series!!
