we did this years ago when our coop was super small it worked great! a few roosting poles stuck between panels that formed the hoop and pan with sand and the girls were happy good luck! Comment from : Gerald Crawford |

Neat idea! I'm looking to do the same extend my chickens enclosed run Problem might be the hoop part is too dark for them to find the ladder They don't really need the protection from the elements Good luck! I love the concept! I'm just concerned with a predator hiding out in the hoop coop when the chickens come out in the morningunless you could block off the hole you cut before it gets dark But I do like all the room you've given them!
