I have a closet plenty of clothes!brSo for now, what I'm trying to do is build a basic capsule for each season with your 15-piece formula and add another 15 each pear month with more trendy and colorful pieces And pack away of the wardrobe the rest of the clothes brWill see how it works…brBy the way, I discovered OpenWardrobe because of you and i’m in the digitalizing process!! Thanks a lot for this vid, it's really helpful!brWhen it comes to me, my wardrobe basics that for some may not be that "basic" are: a knitted mustard sweater with a jewel neckline, a purple turtleneck and a long-sleeved button-up white shirt with vertical red stripes Comment from : Julia Zięba |

I consider belts to be one of my basics because I always wear them to accentuate my figure and tie in the colors of my outfit but like you said, the gold part of a belt for example might be the statement bit in a more monochromatic wardrobe :) Comment from : Ekin Özcan |

I hate those 10 items list that is all black or beige Thank you for clearing up the idea of basic What is basic for me is black pants and leopard inspired blouses This makes me happy If I want to change it up I throw on a pink, rust, or black blazer I wear this all the time But after watching so many capsules video, I got discouraged I want to be intentional in my dressing, but I cant not wear beige, white, and black all week I tried to do this and wasted money I have a draw filled with black tees that I don't wear ever I like black tops with interesting details like a lace neckline or an asymmetrical neckline I think I am ready to pack those black tees away and embrace fully my basic statements I also thought I liked dresses, but I only really like one, that I wear twice a week with a colorful kimono I like to wear color close to my face and this lockdown has made me come to terms with my style I like your approach and is really helping me hone in I think we can be convinced to like something or to feel that we like something because 100's fo YouTubers are presenting it as minimalism But you are enlightening me Comment from : Sheila Kosoff |
I always disagree with the "X items you MUST have" thank you for mentioning that! I was starting to believe I was alone in that one Comment from : Vik Oli |
This is still all a huge challenge for me, but you are clearer than others! Thx Comment from : l h |

This is so great, & truthfully more my style! Thank you for making this video chica🌷🌼🌻 Comment from : Eliza Rodriguez |
What I love about this wardrobe is the way you rotate in a few pieces, but keep most of the items! I get tired of rotating in a WHOLE different wardrobe, keeping only a few items This will work so much better for me Thank you! Now, I'm off to rearrange my closet before I report back to work after all of this isolation! Watching your videos during this pandemic has helped me stay sane Oh, and my favorite was Winter Cheers! Comment from : Deb Zaragoza |
I just love how detailed and helpful your videos are! Such great tips and examples Comment from : Jasmine Ty |

This is a very considered and intelligent analysis of a capsule wardrobe Really well done Fernanda and Thank You, You've just got a new subscriber and you deserve many more! brAs for a basic in my own wardrobea year round mid thigh length red coat is a basic I have had in my wardrobe for about 20 years now and it really defines my style and who I am Comment from : Vera McGrath |
Hi Fernanda I agree with you, Autumn is my favourite season also I am a Spring so I need to be careful with the bolder colours I'm not sure what my basic or staple piece is Great tips and great video Comment from : Sherry Edwards |
You blew my mind with how you broke it down It seems so much simpler now Thank you very much Comment from : joyous2theworld |
Such a helpfull video! Away from the typical fashion/trendy videos that are tremendly influenced by the season fashion industry Congrats Fernanda 👏 Comment from : Filipa Martins |
Two basic pieces for me in Spring (my favorite season) is a light pink trousers and a long cardigan in the same color I pair them with anything! Regarding my climate, it can change a lot, especially during winter and summer, but there is a long period of temperate temperatures so a year round capsule is definitely interesting for me Thanks for the video again! I'm also impatient to be on Thursday!! Comment from : Jennifer Kay |
Love your videos!! Thanks for your help getting my wardrobe together I don’t buy fast fashion anymore since creating a capsule wardrobe and I’m so glad I got out of that trap Comment from : heartquaked |
Would jumpsuits and overalls be in the six tops category or the five bottoms category?brWhy are dresses in the top category and not the bottom category?brLove the 65432 capsule idea Comment from : elizabeth davis |

How do you make that kind of image featuring all the pieces? It would help a ton to see all my pieces at a glance like that so I really want to make something similar 😊 Loved the video! ✨ Comment from : Lauren xo |
Another great video Loved the summer dress Comment from : Susan Clarke |
This was awesome!!! Comment from : Hobby Garden In The Woods |
Very nicely put Fernanda ❤️ My basics involve puff sleeve jersey crepe tshirts which would be considered statement for many Comment from : Atreyee Mukherjee |
My all year basic - but statement for others - pieces would be too big, black printed t-shirts (preferably with band names/logos/photos) And maybe kilts also And for spring, summer and early autumn (I'm highly afraid of getting them dirty in mud or snow in autumn & winter), my kind of basics/statements are maxi skirts (basics if solid color, statements if they have some kind of pattern)brbrI love the autumn too, this orange dress is so stunning 😍 Comment from : Z Elhaz |
Loved this video!! You make it seem so easy My favorite was also Fallgotta love all those warm colors But I loved the leather jacket in Spring and that fabulous halter dress in Summer! (Meant to email youI received the leopard shorts and they are SO cute! Can't wait to wear them Thanks again!) Comment from : a simple life |
