When i went to -005 it went from thermal throttling to power limit throttling My temps were a mess 97-98 avg and thermal throttling was on But with -005 it went to 87 avg with power limit throttling on

I cant seem to get either of these applications running on my asus tuff dash f15 theres no uvp option in the bios so xtu wont even start and throttlestop has the unlock ajustable voltage greyed out, someone pls help

I undervolted my laptop but the performance decreased for some reason its now in 30s Before the undervolt it was 60 and above but stutter after some secs anyone knows how to fix thisbrI have 6 year old laptop which have GTX 950m, i7 and 8gb of ram I tried most of the things but stuttering doesn't go away

I have an MSI gs66 10se with a 2060 and i7-10750h I tuned down my turbo ratios and undervolted 100mV My temps are now around 77-80 is this a good range of temp for laptops?

hmm im struggling with my brand new laptop unsure if i should send it backbrI have a MSI GP 66 Leopard 3080 with the i7 11800hbrI tried undervolting it peaking arround -0,65 but the temps dont get better at all , i could get like 200-300points higher in cinebench but thats it brIm constantly throttling at 95°C while the Turbo Boost brI tried to undervolt my GPU aswell also almost nothing like 1-2°C less with like 250mhz less which isnt a real success eitherbrWhats your advice here?

I noticed my laptop was hitting the 100°C mark wondering why since I've already undervolted and re-pasted it I opened intel ETU and found out that I was adding 01V instead of reducing it lmao Once changed the temperature literally went down to around 70-75°C (60-65 with cooler boost) Whoever is trying to undervolt their laptop, make sure you UNDERVOLT and not OVERVOLT like I did

Tried this using the HP Omen Gaming Hub which has a section for undervolting Using the intelligent scanner it doesn't allow much above -005 mV offset Playing with it manually I can get a stable -0105 mV offset Really does bring the temperatures down, not so much thermal throttling Thanks for the video and advice

My Omen 17 i7 10750h undervolted by -110 Overall noticed a drop in cpu temps by 10 to 15 degrees Combined with a gpu overclock I gained an extra 12 fps on heaven benchmark on max settings Also the fact my fans stop sounding like jet engines when just browsing Internet is also a plus

Intel has now disabled undervolting its recent CPU's via XTU due to a security issue So Tom's method won't work any more for many CPU's I'd love to find an alternative, but am struggling to do so Would love to hear from anyone who has managed it since Intel nixed the easiest route

When I use intel's tuning utility it won't let me adjust the core voltage setoff, what do I do? My processor is also intel so it should be compatiblebrEdit: I have a U series processor and I don't think you can overclock/undervolt with it

After -150 v and repasting gpu and cpu and overall fan cleaning it went from 91/92 to 55-62 Also when its on Idle it doesn’t use the fans at all which makes it super quiet 🤫

Unfortunately, undervolting is a thing of the past now because of "Plundervolt", but I didn't even know what that was thing until I watched this video trying to undervolt my cpu I realized that when I loaded up XTU the options for undervolting were greyed out and you could not make changes to them One quick google search and found out it was a security risk for the intel cpu's

try reducing your turbo ratio limits 1HZ each from each core in FIVR and speed shift-EPP on now for a small speed loss you will gain a stable FPS while playing high end games try it out and let me know the difference

Going to give this a try on my GS75 Stealth Never hurts to bring the temps down a few degrees on ANY computer Haven't had any performance issues, I just hate seeing temps up in the 80s for any length of time
