Former homeschool student here: I guess my question(s) when do you plan your lesson(s)? brbrAnd what grading do you use? 1/100 or letter grades? brbrAnother question is when your kids seem to reach a level of math or a subject that's beyond your level of expertise, do you sign them up for online school for that advance subject, hire a tutor or participate in a homeschool co-op were a parent or other teacher can assist you there? brbrAlso if/when you have to work, either part time or full time during day time school hours, how do you make up for it so they're still on schedule, Do you teach in the evenings after work? Or on the weekends?

I'm homeschooled because of my disease and tbh, I wish i could go to public school 🤷🏻‍♂️ my parents don't know ANYTHING, i had to teach myself to spell and read most words from video games, but I couldn't teach myself other things I BARELY know the basics! I never got taught history, science, math, language arts etc, I love my parents but i probably won't even be able to get a job

I'm 15 and I plan to be a stay at home mom to raise and educate my future kids at home, they are gonna have enough stress in their adulthood and I don't want that pressure and anxiety in their childhood They can socialize at extracurricular classes if they want, even at the park or with neighbors

The last thing I want is for mine to be socialized in the public school system Socialization in public schools is social engineering, and time and time again, we discover how many of them lack basic manners and are downright hateful Teachers no longer do anything about it; they have joined the “it’s not my job” bandwagon, and they may even be the originators of that whole mentality and movement It comes as no surprise that we have such a sick society full of sociopaths

As the recipient of said home schooling I ABSOLUTELY HATE how people say all this stuff passive-aggressively to my mom!brI hate it so muchbrI am behind in book work but I am very mentally flexible with learning new things and my mom's side of the family refuse to accept the fact me and my brother are Homeschooled and it works My online friend talks so much trash about me being home schooled and so I just make fun of the trash heap that is the public school education system I am growing up to be able to own a business and handle the uncertainty of big changes witch is more realistic than memorizing garbage that companies are refusing to hire people without experiencebrI have learned to draw, to knit, crochet, felt, sew, mixed media and I have an etsy shop started with my mombrI also educate myself in politics so that I know what to look for in a country leader Witch if you search is NOT encouraged to students to from their own political opinionsbrI also am wanting to continue volunteering at one of the worst animal shelters in my city to help the dogs and possibly start training aggressive "last chance" dogs on the side and hopefully soon get a death row dog to become my personal protection companionbrbrMega corporation colleges and public schools have ruined the economy along with our countries with failed child protection and resource use laws and I refuse to be a part of it I wouldn't have the amazing bond with my mom that I have now if I were in public schoolbr66 higher graduation rate from colleges and being able to work more on what is good for me is an added advantage

People assume I’m a patient saint when they tell me they wish they could do it, too brbrI’m neither of those things Just a determined momma to guide her kids through an ever changing world and the socialization they’d achieve in school is one of the biggest the things they need protected from brbrI was in high school nearly a decade ago with siblings still in it!! Nothing has changed and my kids are better off at home until they can actually comprehend all of things being introduced to them in school via friends and teachers
