Idk what everyone’s situation is… However I still can make that money working 60 hour weeks in trucking With Elogs or without… if you’re making a 100 grand a year and can’t “survive” off of that, maybe you should take a harder look at your finances Live within your means, sell all those fancy things you have that trap you in debt and have a modest life You are not a multi millionaire or billionaire Live at your level Avoid debt like the plague except for maybe your modest home, save for vacations with cash, invest in 401k or your own Roth IRA and you’ll be fine and a millionaire by the time you decide to retire Trucking is still a good business don’t let this video lie to you However I must say truckers need to unite against these companies that hold the load boards and give work for cheap making a normal 3k run for 800$ is robbery especially considering the differences in costs between a logistics company and a trucking company You cannot compare electricity, Wi-Fi and a laptop to truck costs They are the real thieves people wake up And the other main issue is the trucking companies accepting the peanuts these companies are paying for freight being moved, do not accept it! Let them lose hundreds of thousands of dollars millions of dollars until they learn their lesson, be strong people don’t be weak

I have been an owner operator for almost 3 decades and most people don't know how brutal being a trucker really is I used to be a Canadian and Alaska hauler and we were required to drive 5000 miles a week solo My entire career has been like that and like 25 of the work I've done, I've never been paid for During covid I went hungry every day and washed myself in rivers because the restrooms were closed I have been robbed and beaten, I've almost froze to death from hypothermia I have been shot at from road rage and I can't even remember all of the times I've been hurt by horrible people And most trucker's get treated this way, so people can eat America is built on taking advantage of innocent people
