I have bought 4 used graphics cards, a gtx 770 lasted me a year, a fake 1050ti was fake but we got a refund, an rx 5700xt died in a week and an rx 570 I have been using for years I think it really just depends on your luck

Just got a used 1080 ti, it was used for mining and its in perfect condition, the guy was pretty cool about everything, and the thing is i got it for about €150 which is pretty amazing, at least for me Every other listing was selling them for €300 to €400, at least on the used market in my country

as a miner and gamer i wouldnt say it a bad thing for being a miner car but the person did they take care of it end of story i but almost all used gpus i answer every question and check any card i sell i also clean my rigs every 6 month even my gaming pc most poeple just dont do maintain to anything that is the real problem in my eyes

I bought a 2060 super 8gb for 240$ without knowing it was mined, but it seems that I have a really bad cpu, ram and psu Maybe that’s why it isn’t performing on its maximum, and the fans rattle when they turn faster 😢

I am personally using a gpu after 2 years of mining and i can assure you Nothing happens to a card as long as it does not over heatbrAlso another dicovery i made GPU's that have problems like artifacting works completely fine if used as a mining card without connecting any display

biggest problem is that miners dont service their gpus, thermal pads worn out, thermal paste dry out, and dust on small components make it overheat on some spots, ive bought 10 rx 580 XFX , 5 of them died after few days of gaming, one even killed my MBO and caused a fire in case !!! pick yourself clean cards, dont worry if they dont have sticker on back screws, that means someone already cleaned it and changed thermal paste ( maybe not thermal pads ), risky but cheapthat says all

Got a used 6600xt with almost 2 years warranty left for $200 New ones still cost over $300 here Previous owner said he only used it for engineering designs Temperature looks pretty normal with GPU temp up to 64C and Junc temp up to 76C for heavy gaming like RDR2 at 1440p Pretty happy with my purchase, I think I'm sticking to buying used cards in the future, I'm only upgrading after at least 1-2 generations anyway

I bought my rx5700xt cheap from a local pc store I recently sold my rx580 to that shop and it took them a long time Because they actually put it apart, test it, and check everything before buying I'm glad I found this shop My rx5700xt is as good as new

Most of my video cards that i use are from mining farms I just make sure that i apply some new thermal grease, along with cleaning They worked for years now without any fails whatsoever Anyway, if the seller dont accept returns, and/or sell them as untested, he knows for sure that they are defective and that a red flag right there

After watching this, I bought a used Gigabyte RX 6700 XT Gaming OC for just $260 instead of spending about $490 for a new one (it was used for roughly 2 years)brIt was a little bit dusty but I took care of that and the almost dried out thermal paste It's been one month and the card worked splendidly (I paired it with Ryzen 5600, 16GB Ram and a 850w PSU)brbrI've been playing 2 Neir games, FF VI remake at 2k, maximum setting without any issue (I put FPS limit to 144 and it's always above 100)brWill try out the Tomb Raider and DMC series later
