Great videos I was worried about starting NFT in the open air but your videos give me hope I'm based in North Queensland and it gets hot and humid but cooling the reservoir and using shade cloth in summer may work You mention that you need about 2l/minute flow rate Is that continuous or do you you cycle? Hello dear, I am writing you from Costa Rica (people here says hi) I was watching your videos with all your excellent ideas and I am curious about the fact that the hole of your blue circular foam is design for a small plant in order to hold it My question is what happens when the plant begin to grows and gets thicker at the bottom? Can the plant grows properly? I am planning to set up my hidroponic NFT system down here and I was planning to use net pots which are very expensive I saw your video and I though that it could be a solution to get a cheaper plant holder idea I am going to put it into practice anyways however I look forward to hearing your answers Congratulations for the job you have done and also for your contribution Regards, Martin from Poas de Alajuela, Costa Rica Comment from : Martín De Paula |

I know this is an old video, but I think your idea is brilliant I have seen the pool noodle, the foam padding, the sponge, the rock wool, the expandel clay, the coco coir/peat Yours combined the foam padding with the pool noodle, both easily obtained, relatively inexpensive and are reusable The transition from seedlings in the DWC to the NFT appears seamless, Good job Comment from : Tasty FishSauce |

Thanks for the informative video I'm just getting rolling (purchasing various components) and, though I was considering the floating raft system, I may consider swaying towards an NFT I will be using a grow tent so I was attempting to avoid the potential of "leaks" due to a water pump/delivery tubing/PVC/reservoir failure But again, I do like your system Specifics, such as the size of the hole saws used, are appreciated Comment from : Anxious Beachbum |
