I plant out, or in a pot, 6-8 seedlings together, that minimises work and allows you to pick one bunch in one go

I've tried to many times to grow spring onions from seed but mine eventually just stop growing! My current batch is about 2 months old but they're still only 4 inches high and some have simply died off too - aren't you supposed to be able to harvest them once they're 2 months old?brAny tips?brHow often do you water them as seedlings and how often as "teenagers"?brDo you keep them in a sunny or a rather shady area?

Interesting video I enjoy watching this stuff as I live in cities and don’t get to do it but I used to do a lot of this with my grandparents when I was a kid kind of miss it Little confused though it doesn’t look like spring onions to me it looks more like what we would call scallions or green onion My grandfather told me spring onions are normal regular onions just picked prematurely, because of their texture sweetness and milder taste In fact you don’t even really eat the green leaves on spring onions that’s more scallions or in some places they call it green onions Maybe I’m remembering it wrong but I’m pretty sure it’s something my grandparents told me

I find if I cut the grown spring onion off close to the ground that they will regrow - rather than take them out by the roots
