Just started playing definitive edition for first time and my jaw dropped, one of the few amazing remasters, had it on my hard drive for couple years now Only got round to playing it If you think the ps3 version looks better you're either looking at the original through rose tinted glasses or you're an alcoholic

The PS3/Xbox 360 version have AWESOME graphics, it's like play a PS4/XONE game in PS3/X360, the rain effect, the details, the animations, ALL IS NEW GENERATION in OLD GENERATION, excellent job for the team!

I'm replaying the definitive edition and I'm still amazed by it Environements are well detailed, light and shadow effects are still very honest and Lara's modelization, expressions and animations are better than some current games it's hard to believe that it's been released in early 2014, at the very beginning of PS4 lifespan ans adapted from a ps3 game

I just finished the game on PS3 and thought it looked amazing It is incredible how much could be achieved with clever compromises even on a 2006 system But to see this video and what can be done with a current gen system, wow The definitive edition looks fantastic, I think I'll buy a PS4, it is getting cheaper these days I haven't played games in years so maybe that's why even old PS3 is impressive to me, but I have to admit the remaster looks excellent
