Thanks for sharing your story I’m going through the return process now Been over 21 days since I reported my problem and still haven’t received my FedEx box So furious Hopefully I’ll have a working ps5 by October :/

Hey man, I want your advice please I got my ps5 3 weeks ago and 3 times I turn it on and the safe mode screen popped up and only giving me the option of resetting and reinstalling software I already lost 2 saves from two different games What can I do?

My PS5 suffered the blue light of death And Sony did fix it which I'm super thankful But had to wait 2 weeks to get it back

Mine is doing the same thing but I sent it to my local technician to repair the HDMI port just got it back the other day stuck in safe mode and did the same thing as yours i cant sign in unless I update tried to do it wont let update even through the playstation settings and the safe mode , i sent it to playstation before the update even happened and they sent it back with a broken HDMI port not great customer service if you ask me

I’m going through the exact same thing! I purchased for my son for Christmas and on Christmas is when I found out mine gets stuck at the same spot Waiting on my box from PlayStation now This is horrible

They most likely don’t have a known fix for this issue This will need to fixed vis future updates
