so over 5 gb vram pretty much means you would have had to have a gtx 980 ti or titan x back in 2015 to play DL1 just as today when you need a rx 6900 xt or rtx 3090 to be on the safe side Times doesn't change, peoples perception does, and the fact that nvidia don't release gpu's with sufficient vram buffers come to think of it The gtx 960 had 3 gb, gtx 980 ti had 6 and the titan x had 12 gb the rtx 4060 has 8 gb, 4080 16 gb and the rtx 4090 has 24 gb to me 2023 looks like 2015 all over againbrBasically the 4060 plays DL2 in 1440p as the 960 played DL1 at 1080p

U talking that 128 bit bus is sucks at higher resolutions,but I spot that 4060 have exactly the same FPS at 4k with dlss as 3060 ti with 256 bit bus

My RTX 3090 is 25 time faster than RTX 4060 at 4k that's insane if you compare it to other generations for example gtx 1060 was almost as fast as the flagship of last generation the legendary gtx 980ti

Nice video, Can you also test and find out what are the best overclocking settings for this card ? I did some digging to find out that this card can outperform or match the 3060ti when overclocked while staying at 138watts of power, I just haven’t been able to discover what are the most optimal settings for this card in MSI afterburner

the screen tearing is very distracting and not that great looking my friend , just use V Sync if you know that your GPU will not exceed the refresh rate of your monitor , other than that , very enjoyable video as always Kryzzpo man !

When talk about texture, people tend to not realize older game's texture have way less variety and repeat itself very offen brThat's one of the reason why older games use way less VrambrbrAnd in terms of RT, the main improvement over rasterization IMO is close up shot and interior scene which almost no content creator will test those scenario except DF

part of the reason your fps wasn't as high as you thought with frame gen is because you need gpu overhead, and you were near 100 usage alot of the time so your base framerate has to drop to give processing power to frame gen, plus dx12 being a bit more demanding as well

You can change the Filter in Dyinglinght 2 They are not stuidpid Filters like some games offer they realy do make a change and look very good, you can have the same filter as like Dying Light 1 Sunset Filter and much more

first things first; I like dying light 2 (300 hours of playtime) and like dying light 1 even more (400 hours)brdying light 2 still is a mid game, especially if you really look into the details I am flabbergasted that the game doesnt render the fire if you are not looking at itbrI really expected more from Techland but they were bought by Tencent recently so its basically over The game will get better but I would not keep my hopes upbrAs for the GPU, I was thinking of getting a 4060 because of basically no effect if used on a pcie 30 mobo and low wattage, but i really prefer the more enthusiast menu from AMD, and their cards get better fps per dollar than NVDAbrLove the vids, keep it up

I feel like DX12 is one of the reasons why PC games optimization "sucks" basically Not only the VRAM consumption is almost twice as high but also more intense for literally the same graphics with additional unnecessary features Regardless, nice video man, most entertaining benchmarker out there

I was really into ray tracing at first but most devs just add it as a selling point You can hardly tell the difference in DL2 unless you actually stop and look for itbrGames like Control and Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition really used RT to make those games look better And Metro could run at 60fps on PS5 and XBSX Some games just add RT shadows that hardly makes a difference but tanks performance so much
