2:03 you are very wrong man, 85 grades celsius is very very safe for mining in memory RAM, the throttle is in 110 grades celsius up to 96 grades is safe, for gddr6XbrIf you mean the gpu-core temperature, the gpu-core in MINING do not stress the vga card, the temperature of gpu-core is always low in all gpus while mining, 50-65 no more in my case 55 gpu-core, 96 memories its okbrWhenever we talk about mining temperature, we talk about the temperature of the memories, not the core of the gpu Comment from : Jordi SP |

my gpu is about to have a reactor meltdown if i go 85-95 yeet Comment from : K1tozen |

xfx 570 run a lot hotter than the msi rx 570 is there a way to control fan speed individually? Comment from : ghostfacep4 |
so i f i keep my cards on 65C i will be fine leeaving them 24/7 mining?? what about fan lifespan?? i can get 65C but it may need the fans to go on 80 24/7, its that safe too? ty Comment from : Shonist |

Can running the fans at 100 24/7 damage anything? Comment from : VincentBeats |

Can running the fans at 100 24/7 damage anything? Comment from : VincentBeats |

So no actual data on failure rates related to temps? You just picked some temps that made you feel good, and have been repeated from a reddit thread who also had no basis for the ranges? Bad advice on airflow, additional airflow can reduce temps Another video with folklore information Comment from : Colin Cassells |
So your GPU will stay fine as long as your GPU doesn't get too hot? Like there will be no damage in the long run rightor should I say not as much damage? Comment from : Aspire |

Great info, thanks man sub! Comment from : Shutter Eff3ct |

I’m running at full load with just one fan working at 90c for 24/7 with no problem yet because when it’s at 80c I don’t make much on gtx970 But i still got warranty on the card hahaha Comment from : Gurvyn |
if i made my gtx 1050 mine 19 hours a day , at average 60c , 90 load ,,,,, how long will it last ? Comment from : M O Arts |
My RX 570 hovers at 65(66) C temp at 46 fan speed while mining, so i guess i'm fine Comment from : Mitche23 |
I am currently on a lower power target of 60 (150W TDP of max 250W TDP) (the most efficient power and mining percentage of the 1080 Ti) and it runs at a 55 degrees with side panel off People are saying it will make your GPU run at a 100 (which kills your GPU in long run) but with the power limit, will that not be true, and life span of my card last longer? Comment from : T_Maister |
I don't have a mining rig,I have an i7 4770 34 GHz and I have gtx 750 ti,I'm getting a 69 degree celcius on average,how many years can I use the graphics card? Comment from : Vaachaspathi Bonala |
do you have a fan curve profile you could share? would love to see that Comment from : david valens |

Ok, one question, what about HBM2 temps? Let's say that my gpu temp is 55-60, but HBM2 (on Vega) is at 71C Will HBM degrade? Comment from : Sky Mage |

I turned on fan control and it stays at 65 degrees except for 72-75 Comment from : Rasmus Schubert |

You should mention undervolting And extra fans don't pull much electricity It's worth having Comment from : Alexander Dace |
As the weather is getting colder in my country my temps are between 43-37 Is this save or i should slow down the fan to raise the temps? Please answer me Comment from : Kiril Rizov |

my GPU temp goes to 92C Comment from : Death Stroke |

I just literally have a normal fan pointed at my rig lol My 1070s are overclocked a bit and they all range from 68C to 75C, I might bring up the fan speed on the cards a bit (currently its automatic and it stays at around 58) Im just not too sure just how much I should increase the fan speed Any suggestions? Comment from : DethNDots |
What is the ideal fan speed? i have a msi rx 580 just in case Comment from : Miguel Rodriguez |
Anyone testing rx 470 with liquid cooler ?brI want to know which better overclock gpu for more hashes with liquid cooler or just enough with lower voltage ?brWhich efficien ?brThx for information Comment from : Romy Sjarif |
Every GPU's max temp is different, some may die in 70 and for some 85 - 90 is "not bad" It varies from brand, model etc Comment from : Ceyhun Süleyman |

my rx 570s are running all around 49-56c Comment from : XLouisGamerX |
Depends on the GPU R9 290 reference model runs at 94 degrees AMD considers this safe I find that too hot but factory overclocked versions have nice dual or tri fans and coolers so it's in the mid to low 80s My point is yeah if an RX 480 hits the 90s that's dangerous and will cause damage If a R9 290 hits that temperature that's considered safe, but probably not something you want Comment from : MineAllDayAllNight |
GJ ! Comment from : Mistery6363 |
increasing the fan speed , does this damage the fan too? at what level of increasing we are safe (60-70?)? Comment from : Miljan Shordja |
I would like to see a burstcoin mining video of you, can you get into it? Tell your point of view really intrested! Comment from : DDevianceth |
lower temps also mean lower power consumption because gpu parts consume more power if they are hotter Comment from : Mitja |
is there anything i can do to my GPU to maximize Mh/S other than increasing memory clock speed? Comment from : Crumbles |
In my country loadshedding problem almost 2-3 hours perday will it affect on mining? or i need to provide 24/7 electricity supply for mining if yes can you tell me how can i give backup? because ups is not perfect for 6gpu &1200w psu Comment from : Cook House |
hey there If i were to have 2 rx 480 and 2 rx 470s in a mining rig would i have to flash seperate modded bios for separate cards as the cards are different Comment from : Ben Ziegler |
My rig all 6 gpu temperature is 73 to 75 all time is it safe Comment from : Mohammad Equbal |
Hey buried, i live on a tropical country (is hot) but my rig is inside a room that have like 18° C bc the air conditioner, but i have the fans in 90, and my cards doesn't go below 70 I'm dual mining, and i have oc, but also -48 to core voltage What can i do to make them cooler? Maybe a case fan? Comment from : Wilson Arteaga |
Another easy thing to do is undervolt/downclock your cards, mining doesn't need a lot of power for the GPU core, just the memory So by undervolting you accomplish 2 things, drop your electricity usage considerably, and less GPU voltage mean less electricity being turned into heat Fans don't need to work as hard as well Looks like you have your core voltage at -48, and the GPU core clock at 1150, that will help alot Stock clock speeds and voltages waste alot of un-needed electricity Comment from : Gerald Prusinski |
This is good information dude! Thanks a lot If I get to keep my GPUs at 60°-65°C how much do you think they're gonna live(working 24/7)? Like Two years? Maybe 3? I'm new at this Comment from : MrCapybara747 |
Plz show all off your mining rigs 😀 Comment from : SmokeyNL |
You shouldn't set fans for more than 40-50 if you want them to last for long time Comment from : Ti8 |
lol i run my r9 290s at 90c, temps do not really matter that much unless it is above 95c, below that it really does not put any extra wear and tear, but stil it was a fun video to watch Comment from : Sniper Pro nerf mods |
use claymore : -tt set target GPU temperature For example, "-tt 80" means 80C temperature You can also specify values for every card, for example "-tt 70,80,75"br You can also set static fan speed if you specify negative values, for example "-tt -50" sets 50 fan speed Comment from : Josef Becka |
My temps wary all the way from 40 C to 60 c Is it fine? Comment from : OA B |
Good to know, Thanks! Comment from : AlexGhoro |
hi Buried, did you read any study related to the temp/ wear, or that info is based on your experiences? thanks Comment from : jeliman13 |
