It is hopeful, but as a Nikonian since 1977 - it also is such a veiled admission of (pending?!) last on the field, only to meet the already available excellent ILCs from Canon and Sony Hopeful, but underwhelming from a consumer loyal with his dollars over the decades Glad for the regrouping and repositioning of corporate, glad for the sensor news, glad for the 30 lens news Kinda glad for the Z9 news so far - my feelings not necessarily the final, subject to specification changes Geez cheers mate, nonetheless! This will not be a camera that I would ever need This is like hearing the announcement of the next super car that I could never own nor be able to drive But, a lot of times, technology that they put into these high end flagship bodies trickle down into future mainstream bodies Once the cost of producing the technology comes down that could put some of it to use in the next z6 style body or even the lower bodies Comment from : @carlmcneill1139 |

Hahaha While I was watching the video I got the official email from Nikon with the announcement brCan't wait to see what specs will be confirmed brBut anyways, money is aside and waiting to put a order on that camera brIf it is the mirroreless future of the single digit D series, it is the camera I was waiting for 34MP (Minimum for 8K, so it can't be less), 50MP, 60MP I don't care A nearly indestructible body made for one purpose (fast moving objects) like the old D4/5/6 That is what makes me go mirroreless for my wildlife photographybr brBetter lowlight performance and dynamic range?
