Still some amazing riding Chris Comment from : Stewart Thompson |
Sky high rear pressure makes sense given the low side nature of the rear loss 1:588 crazy fast, but you've got at least a second in hand getting off that final turn The amount of time you lost to the Italian SBK riding stocker off that corner and down the straight Comment from : Graham Hill |
My old FZR1000 Genesis into a ditch at 60, bounced off a hedge, fell back into ditch, all the top subframe bent, headlights , clocks, all pretty mangled, I thrashed that bike back home so I knew inside my heart the bike was good, just looked badand sure enough once I repaired it no thoughts in the back of my mind the bike wasn't right, getting back on ASAP always the best thing to do if you can IMObrbrUnlucky mate, looked like it let go pretty quickly !!! Comment from : PhantomMark |

Lord Von Grumble, you've got absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about You took it like a champ and got straight back on Class I'm sure Toprak was in awe getting to meet royalty in the form of a true Baron 😂😂 Comment from : Bought Not Built |

way too much throttle and wrong line It is under people who ride often in Mugello well known, that people tend to be to unpatience in this corner Often they accelerate way too early and too much Glad you did not highside, in Mugello nearly every corner is fast Comment from : L Toma |
How dare someone rev their bike in a garage on a track day Didn’t you let them know how important you are? brbrYou’re so entitled Comment from : Juniper Bush |
Musings from that: bit of man love with Toprak, totally appropriate😁, the R1 is the best sounding motorcycle ever, bar none, end of discussion and you, Christopher, are no mug on a Superbike Cudos Comment from : Philip Bassett |

Comment from : mrgee007 |
Great video Comment from : benS |
Meh, tiny off looks like you didn't even need to change the clipons wait till you barrel roll it and need to go get the frame straightened And it will happen Your leathers have some track cred now as well Good to see it looks like you got the power issue sorted down that main straight you were getting monstered by the stock bike in that first session Great series on building up the bike Comment from : Rick Bates |
There's an old saying "you can run rich as many times as you want, but you can only run lean once" being somewhat rich (extra fuel) won't really hurt an engine, it'll just fowl the plugs over time and make anyone following you have burning nostrils Running lean (not enough fuel) can easily blow a hole in your pistons or lift a piston ring land or even cause it to drop a valve Bad things happen when you run an engine lean The reason you have to remap it is the less backpressure you have the quicker the exhaust can be pushed out/sucked out by the surrounding cold air and so it's no longer taking up space in the combustion chamber which makes you need more fuel (basically) There's a lot of science that goes into it With 100 gasoline you want an air fuel ratio of about 123 at wide open throttle With ethanol fuels you need to add more fuel to make up for the fact that alcohol makes less energy/power compared to gas, at E15 (15 alcohol) you want about 119-120 AFR, for E85 you want like 104 or even richer (the first number gets smaller as you go richer because it's parts of air to one part of fuel, the fuel stays at value 1 don't ask why) In boosted race engine you can actually see E85 numbers go as rich as 80 or even 60:1 Methanol gets even more insane than that, especially with boost, in top alcohol racing they actually run 1:1 AFR which means for each pound of air it's also burning a pound of fuelbrLet me just make this observation for all us guys There's a LOT of hot women there at that event! All those amazing asses walking around behind you what a sight I see you found yourself a new blondie of your own congrats, as someone with depression I know how much it sucks to suffer through it alonebrWell, at least you just lowsided it and didn't pull a R Kelly and believe you could fly! Comment from : OtisENGINEuity |

All part of pushing! Looks like the slower riders were sending you a little off the racing line, mixed with a slightly cooler tyre on the left side and perhaps incorrect tyre pressures Comment from : Gareth Hickey |
