Hey, thanks for the video I'm trying to go through the process of setting mine up but I only get the PS3 Bluetooth Library Started message when I enable debugging I saw on another comment you said these was probably due to an incompatible dongle, but I bought you linked as confirmed working My question; however, is that no matter if I have debugging enabled or disabled the storage space is always 20556 bytes Got any suggestions? I am using the pro mini and the mini usb host shield to fit into an RC tractor My problem is that I only get the "ps3 bluetooth library started" message, even when i cut down the updated version of the code and turned on debugging I am using the same dongles as the black one that you have and the pro mini is an ATmega 328 33v Any help would be appreciated! Sorry, this may be a repost, not sure if the first one got out or not:brbrGreat videos! (incl part 1) Three questions:brbr1) we're thinking of using the usb host shield MINI (not full size) on a prototype project: is there any differences hardware-wise/code-wise from using the larger board (other than the pin lineups, obviously)?brbr2) We're thinking of using this on a UDOO Quad board (their bluetooth going into the iMX6 chip does not work, at least with Android; we want to sidestep theirs and use bluetooth directly to the Arduino side: simpler for us); The Udoo Quad board is based on the Mega boards including pin lineups Is the larger usb host board (not the mini) compatible with it? Your video references compatibility with the Mega (around the 10 minute mark) but it's not clear from the video that the pins would line up Am I missing something? Do the pins need to be connected separately?brbr3) If we're to connect the pins separately (other than power/gnd/33v/) for either the mini or the full size is it correct that ONLY the SPI pins are needed (mosi/miso/ss/clk) to get connection/functionality between arduino and usb host board?brbrAny input (get it? :)) would be appreciatedbrFreddy Comment from : Frederic Rudman |

Both videos are very helpful, ThanksbrbrI've used a no name chinese dongle with sparkfun board with v20 lib They respond only when the external power is connected to Dueminlanove I enabled the debugging in settingsh and as you've mentioned in the video I've to remove most of the test code to fit in the 30k limitbrbrIf anyone uses sparkfun board, make sure you solder a jumper between D7 and reset pins, otherwise nothing will work Comment from : toonynew |
