Great video Hairdressers need to watch your channel My hair is colored with Redken 7n , 20 volume developer and has an orange, red tint to it Noone has been able to get away from that without me going black Any suggestions? I hate a red, orange tint to brown hair Thanks for such great videos

I have really dark hair I want to lift my hair level as much as i can without damaging my hair tremendously What do you think would be better bleaching my hair with 30 col developer twice or bleaching with 40 vol developer once? Which would lift my hair color more and which will damage more?

Oh wow! Thank you! I wish I’d watched this a few weeks ago… think maybe I’m naturally around level 5-6 & just had highlights I wanted to “get rid of” & go with something close to my natural color…ended up with something VERY different 3 “fix it” sessions later, I have very warm blonde level 8 hair 😞 Hair is so dry & I hate how it looks Help!

Helpful vid, Elle! I love ur idea of the colorist explaining WHY “no” / what it would entail to change colors that us lay people who don’t fully understand color theory, etc (vs my last one who was like “eh… no I don’t think that’ll work” Upscale place too! 🤔 So when you go for highlights and they can’t get the highlight right it has pink shade maybe in 20 of a strand it’s because of this❓ Or with a toner it gets fixed❓ Note -highlights over previously permed hairbrThank you❗️

I have a natural level 6 and I hate it, it’s not bad it just looks bad on me, I always go level 2 but somehow a week later I end up with my natural level 6 even tho I use permanent hair dye, even salon hair dyes fade after a week

Thank you for this! Two questions: the chart at 4:50 minutes— it takes 8-12 or 12-20 hours to achieve the "blonde $400-600" —Is that done over a few days or weeks/months? And, can you add blue toner to get rid of orange?

This is very clear & easy to understand I've done hair for decades so I know what works or doesn't yet I couldn't explain it to make sense Especially the point about lightening from level 4 to 8 when the underlying warm orange to yellow tones become dominant Why you need to go lighter to deposit a cool tone to achieve a desired color but risk damage to the hair Thank you for sharing!
