I'd suggest that you don't discount selling on the market places that already have lots of customers surfing for products, such as eBay and Amazon You'd just need to modify your approach as you'd be competing against a different type of seller It's far harder driving customers to a new website such as yours Although you can use it for back end and repeat business sales off the initial eBay / Amazon sale

Dropshipping used to be my main business for couple of years when CPC was super low on FB This business model still works and work well However, I started two years ago Amazon FBA and already crossed 150kmonth and ditched my DS stores I noticed everyone keeps the secrets for themselves, I understood that after reading an eBook No one is talking on how to outrank competitors properly (Which is one of the most important thing), how to gain traffic outside Amazon (Besides influencers marketing), how to do proper off site SEO to gain additional traffic etc
