I'm white ,and now 72 yrs old , French Canadian , but I remember when I was a kid ,, even though mom was the vocal one ,, she would threaten us with , 'wait till your dad gets home "" and we knew we were in big shit ,, Dad had this barber strap hanging off the door as a warning to us , that whenever we get out of line , we can expect that ,, I tried to hide that strap once ,, Dad was even more furious , and he ended up whipping out his belt and use the buckle end to beat us with ,, tell you what ,, we didn't mess around with Dad too much ,, and not even Mom ,, Dad was the enforcer ,, Mom was the warning ,, we knew our limits ,, even when we went to school ,, if we got in trouble there ,, bigger trouble awaited us back home ,,, we always tried to be good kids ,, knowing what was coming ,, we were good kids ,, these days , kids have no idea how lucky they are ,, some of them do need a bit of a whipping ,, anyway ,, just saying ,,

Yep My Mom was born in Puerto Rico She didn't play for real This was sooo funny because it's real My sister saw a commercial that said if you're a kid that is abused call this number So she told my Mom one day when she was going to get it, "I'm calling child protective services on you if you hit me" Mom said, "Go right ahead There's the phone" We all love our Mom She did a great job raising us and even though my sister and I don't hit our kids, we support our Mom because she raised us the best she could
