Took my dog to the vet 2 days ago and they said she has pneumonia and I've been giving her the pills they told to feed her but she's still not eating and is getting really skinny I can see her ribs now and I can't get her to eat she just spits out whatever I feed her She only drinks water and whatever food I manage to force into her without her spitting it I don't know what to do and the vet just says keep trying to feed her

My girl got a shot of antibiotics and bacteria killing shot, vet thought it was something with her immune systemI already feed her some treats, but should I or just feed her what she usually eats? I can't think what could be bad bout treats tho

Thanks for the tipbr We are already doing this with our lab since the 3 vet that he has seen recommend putting him down Sad None of them suggested all the natural remedies that could cure him !

This method didn't work for us Instead I used a soft bottle that I could squeeze and I put a baby bottle nipple on it and cut the tip to make the hole big enough that the food wouldn't get stuck and used that to feel our pit bull when she started losing her appetite because of her lymphoma I would add water to her wet food, put it in the blender to make a puree The bottle was soft enough for me to squeeze the food in her mouth It helped

My old shih tzu's is really sick hasn't eaten in 5 days brought her to the vet and they couldn't find anything wrong with her and told us to try to feed her and she still wont eat I my puppy who was only a year old got hit on the road today and my parents decided if she doesnt start showing improvement by tomorrow they are gonna put her down so now I'm gonna go try this because I cant loose her too

Mine vomits yellow and it used to be clear she has not eaten in a couple of days perhaps and I'm thinking abt doing ur technique but it has not been to a vet yet and it has not had it's shots and it's a couple months old and I found it on the side of the road and idk what to do so ima try to raise money for her so she can get her shots and some help but ima try to feed her brEdit: she drank some liquid turkey that I made had some little pieces of solid turkey in it and she hasn't barfed yet which is great due to the fact she barfs every time she drinks or eats sum

Hard to demonstrate with a dog that does seem want to eat My dog will, at times, spit out the food no matter how back their throat I try to pump it in She has nearly broken one of the syringes and bitten my fingers even though she's a 16 year old puddle that currently weights about 2kg because she wont eat!

Thank you so much for this! This actually saved me We blended up some tuna with water for the baby dog and she loved it Was starting to worry since she wasn't even eating small bites of cheese or a little dab of whipped cream (Which she would go crazy for a while back) I think a lot of this right now is because she's currently going through her first heat Our vet denied our first attempt for spaying her as she is a super small dog
