Hey! It was Eisenhower who stepped in and put an end to this Anglo French attack! Why are you leaving this out, are you trying to bias history? While the animation was nice, this documentary felt woefully incomplete Compared to others covering the Suez Crisis, such as TimeGhost, I think it fell short of its objective, which was to showcase the start of the downfall of the British and French empires However, France is barely mentioned, except as "allied" and the animation implies that British troops took Port Fuaud, when it was actually taken by French paratroopers, exploiting their easy success in the initial drops That said, nothing was really mentioned to explain how Suez was the beginning of the end for not one, but two colonial empires (and, to be frank, for France, I think the humiliating loss of Indochina and the increasingly brutal situation in Algeria, were more of an indicator of France losing its colonies than the Suez crisis)
