what i don't understand is that it isn't that hard to just do real tech support you can get very basic training to help older people who aren't tech savvy with common problems that are easy fixes if someone comes to you with a problem you aren't trained to fix, you transfer them to someone more experienced most tech support call center workers aren't actually tech experts i could likely do this job without any deep knowledge of computers just because i grew up using computers you could do a job that entails the same work as doing scams, without the weight of being a horrible person who ruins lives

Exactly why i usually don't really both listening to what they tell me to do and i simply find out who they are what they want and if they aren't people i specifically talked to previously in person or on the phone from my end going out i almost immediately hang up

You should work on a collaborative project between remote desktop companies to make a shared database of scammers so that if they get banned on one service they get banned on all of them Also consider making a scam detection software whihc is open source and all these companies can install it in their codebase
