I just bought mine, the lockup tab is a no brainer The website sucked though it took me a couple of tries to find the product It arrived in 3 days I believe now I just have to wait for the rest of the timing belt parts to install Also the instructions which are not included Only downloadable at prp website and they don't mention how many degrees each notch is for Comment from : John Keyno |

While convenient (and I use them on my CA18 and SR20,) there is always a chance they'll slip Having solid pullies with multiple keyways or the camshaft drilled with multiple dowel pin holes gives the same adjustability, but removes the chance of slippage Going forward I'll be having my cams drilled with multiple dowels, as I've done for my KA24DE and just use OEM gearsbrbrWhy not have cam gears exposed: Gravel traps Gravel traps (keep the shroud's on ;) ) Comment from : manitoublack |
