I was so ready to apply for this card but seeing as I mainly shop at Costco for groceries and gas (and Costco only accepts visa credit cards) I don’t see how I would accumulate much cash back:/

I’m SO confused I have never had a credit card I tried to get the discover it secured card They only gave me the option of this card here you’re talking about, and the restaurant and gas one Is there a reason they will not allow me to get a secured card? If I am approved for one of these, how is there any possible way I’m not approved for a lower rated card, that is prepaid? Makes no sense? I assume they just force these unsecured cards on first time users in hopes they will use them irresponsibly and they will profit a shit load?? Only thing that seems like it could be tbh

This is a great card to start with The Student cash back was my first card and it is still putting in the work I’ve been climbing the credit card ladder little by little but this card has brought tons pf value along the way I also opened a bank account, a savings account and an IRA and Discover as a whole is a great company to work with

It’s a pretty good card! My first credit cardI got the discover it chrome secured card last September and it’s been greatStarted at a $200 limit and now up to $1800Not bad for me beginning my credit history but still love discover lol

Such an underrated card, especially in the first year! And when combined with other flexible cards like the Flex or Citi Custom Cash, it can be really easy to cover (almost) all your bases with elevated cash back! Awesome video Josh!

I was made aware of some Discover Card customers having unauthorized charges up to $3000 I want to avoid any likelihood of being scammed by any means Plus they do ask for your ssc and photo id which I found sketchy

The Discover It card is definitely worth it for me because I do like getting cash back with the card I got the card in May 2021 and they gave me a starting credit limit of $11,000, which at the time was the highest limit I was ever given on a credit card Six months later, they increased my limit to $13,000

Ok, we already know that I LOVE the Discover It Cash Back credit card for those starting out It really is a good card that’s typically easier to get than a credit card from Chase or Amex I started with a $1k credit limit and now I’m at $32k 😲 I’ll never use that much, but it’s nice to be able to say that I have itbrbrLol, I did forget to pay my bill ONCE and Discover automatically waived the late fee Now my card is on autopay 🤣
