These are used in that annoying salesman technique Very general use in everyday things From viewing and signing for an apartment to anything that can be purchased or sold to you I experienced this many times and they all mostly fail, especially when I ask for more time to think about it They do not seem happy about that, there was a landlord that even tried a few things to scam extra money, we got half of it back but it was super annoying I ended up using his same trick against him, but also helped that I did a background check and seen he had major issues in his history with following rulesbrI might fall for one or two things if I'm in a crazy rush or just gotten paid while in a good mood I don't care for people that much and I only really buy things I need or am interested in It also helps that I don't plan to stay in north america so buying large things isn't really an issuebrBest thing to do is just take a few minutes to a day to think about anything you are doing brDid you ask other places about it?
