Check out the book “Murder in Little Egypt”, by Darcy O’Brien It’s about Dr Dale Cavaness, who murdered his son for insurance money He is also suspected to have murdered another son and tried to kill a third He hanged himself in prison in St Louis, MO, before the case went to trial He was from Eldorado, Illinois, and so am I The depravity, hubris, and ego are shocking

As a person who got prescribed a drug used for bTREATING PROSTATE CANCER/b (I was a WOMAN who came to the doctor with VERY mild bacterial infection), the side effects of which can ruin a person's health for the rest of their life, the effect I, AGAINST THE DOCTOR'S ADVICE, looked up and read about, I'm no longer even surprised and kept a straight face listening to this compilationbrNo, I did NOT take the drug, obviously

My mom was opposite case - doctors let her suffer labor for almost two days Despite her narrow pelvis and me being postined sideways It took my grandmother (she worked as hospital cleaning staff) getting head doctor to finally get my mother c-section Also it ended up as white line C-section, with huge vertical scar

My mom took me to multiple orthodontists to get an estimate and to find one I was comfortable with and one of the orthodontists wanted to put a pallet expander In (it’s basically a medieval torture device designed to widen your lower jaw, google it) but none of the other orthodontists wanted one My parents and I decided to choose a different one because this along with some of their other practices (mostly stuff designed to get the most amount of money possible) were unethical

My wife went through 7 years, over 60 doctors and 5 hospitals before they finally discovered that she had severe abdominal nerve damage that was causing severe pain and multiple heart attacks Because she was 26 years old, the doctors tried to say it was just a drug addiction or something close to it Oh we even had a gastroenterologist tell her, "Oh it can't be a nerve problem because your nerves don't control your stomach" Dumbass

Idk if this counts, i think it should but anyways: My friend was giving birth & ready to push (like your body naturally has the urge to do), her doctor was stitching up another woman so she had to wait The nurse told her to hold the baby in & not push until the doctor got there It was like 8-10 minutes but still it’s crazy to me she had to hold het baby in, going against her own urges to push

Doctors will tell me I'm drug seeking without even looking at my legs (terrible, can barely stand some days sort of pain in my legs) I tell them that I'm in for leg pain, and when I tell them that I can't remember when they started (It was years ago, how am I meant to?) they call me drug seeking Also they don't believe me when I tell them that I, a 10 year old girl, haven't properly ran in yearsbrLike, how can you say that I'm lying without doing anything? Geisinger Wyoming valley in wilkes barre has doctors and nurses that tried to steal my child they drugged me and lied to children and youth that I had starved my kid I'm not the only victim But I struggle everyday with post partum depression from it Even the children and youth worker admitted that she knew the nurses lied and still had to send me to parenting classes because I was a new mom During this time the other geisinger clinic killed 8 babies "accidentally" bcough/b

My mom's doctor tried taking her only copy of her brain scan because "they lost theirs" My mom has a brain tumor that fortunately isn't growing or causing any issues They also prevent my mom from getting her medication and try to provoke her into getting angry so they can say she's drug seeking and make it near impossible for her to find another doctor

Not in medicine, but have worked with kids a lot There is a huge difference between dealing with a sane parent and a crazy one I want to be honest (with tact) with parents, but if one has demonstrated that they refuse to acknowledge reality and prefer to pretend that continuous perfection by everyone all the time is possible, I cease to communicate any useful information to them unless I don't think it can be hidden, and will ask guidance from supervisor if latter is the case Don't become threatening when told the truth; people will start lying to you, or at least withholding information

All the methadone clinics I've been at immediately take away the phase & start an admin detox if a pt's is positive for benzos That's one if the mist dangerous combinations someone can take, can't believe they were helping this guy to commit suicide (not to mention the guys dose if 250 is a little on the high side to start with)brbrOh In case ppl are wondering A 'phase' is when a pt is doing good in drug treatment (no dirty urine screens, no missing days/appts, etc) and is rewarded with the trust of being able to take their daily dose (from 1-30days worth) home so they don't have to drive to the clinic daily

My daughter lives in AZ and went to the dentist to have a tooth pulled He sedated her and pulled seven teeth He never pulled the one she went in for I contacted the Dental association and they never responded back I payedbr almost 3k to them She was 19 at the time brOh I lived in CA or I would have gone to that dentist office and I probably would have ended up in jail

That C section thing is super common There is a huge spike in C sections performed around 5 pm (those doctors wanting to go home for dinner) and 10 pm (those wanting to go home and go to bed) 30 of women don't need "emergency" c-sections Most midwifery practices have a C-section rate under 10

Last time I went to a hospital, other patients talked about one morning how they had a woman begging for help as she was being raped Because we were a behavioral health hospital no one could go out and help, not even security It was hard to eat breakfast that day knowing how little the people who were in charge of your care couldnt, or wouldnt, afford to care
