I actually use a similar recipe to this! The only difference really is that I add orchid bark I use it as a go-to aroid soil for my Calatheas, alocasias, & pothos which has worked out well Out of curiosity, do you think adding a bit of bark could add some benefit to the plant or maybe be unnecessary? Love your Vids Lucia! I learn so much from you The watering method you use sounds like a real TIME saver, i'm going to do that! I grow cactus & I live in Texas and, believe it or not, it gets extremely humid So, I mix 1/2 chicken grit, you can get it from the feed store, with 1/2 Miracle Grow Cactus and Palm soil so it dries really fast Comment from : SolarWinds -

I wish I saw this before buying peat moss 😩 I just repotted a plant using about equal parts peat moss and pumice and a little less of worm castings I watered the soil after I finished repotted and I noticed it took a bit for the water to drain to the bottom Is that normal? Or did I do something wrong? I was trying to save a plant I bought from a nursery, but now I’m so worried I sped up it’s death 😭 Comment from : Megan McClain
