So say the stock goes well above the strike price, how exactly are you making money when buying a call option? Do you have to exercise the option to make your profit, or do you sell the contract? I've watched many videos & read a lot on it but no one really explains that part

90 of options traders lose money Don’t Trade options for the love of god please Do you honestly believe you are going to beat Wall street who have the most advanced technology in the world and trillion of dollars at their fingertips Also you should never lose money in the stock market Just remember if you lose 50 you now have to make 100 to Brake even Just invest into a nice growth fund or dividend fund and double your money every 8-10 years I’m telling you compound interest over time will make you more money than this ever will regardless if you are a good trader and do beat the 90 odds And even if you do make money do you honestly believe you can keep that constant and ever live off of this One bad trade nearly and it’s all over Just don’t do it I haven’t ever meet a single person who became a millionaire from options But you always hear about investing millionaires, I wonder why

I would say pay attention to the market when picking expiration date if you have the mone It saves time If market is in up swing Try to make 700 a week vs 100 a day Less trading you have to do My goal was 700 a week and tesla put gave me 700 in a day and half I sold The stock kept dropoing all week and could have made easy 2k So dont focus just on the 100 per day minset

Do not buy these instruments They are rigged for you to lose your money If you buy a contract out of the money, ( meaning strike price is away from the current price) the only person that really makes all the money is the writer of the contract, which receives a premium upfront Because of all the random movements in the market and time decay for every day that you have an option contract, you will most likely end up losing your money, but may be lucky a few times The WRITER of the contract is always the one who has very little risk and gets your premium Great channel though

It’s almost impossible to consistently make money buying options It’s gambling unless you’re doing theta strategies You’re talking about 5-10 per day why do you think people buy bonds yielding 3 per year? Because it’s incredibly risky buying options and is not a good strategy unless you’re trying to YOLO your savings to possibly become a millionaire Don’t try to time the market!
