To be honest since AMD owns ATI im surprised they havent gone this route but with a socket GPU option Would work brilliant to have motherboards with two sockets CPU and GPU as you could always upgrade it Not only that but water cooling would have a nice sleek form factor As for VRAM it could have its own channel slots near the GPU socket so that could also be interchangeable

I just bumped in to this video I got a few theories as to what this can be used for brIt can be used to power some interactive screen/tablet/thing in like stores, museums, shopping centresbrThe fact it has all those ports on both sides might indicate that it would be used for like a laptop or compact portable device of sorts, or something to that liking brbrGod knows but there's surely a market for it

It is better to have a motherboard with latest onboard graphic chipset and no expansion slots Because technology evolves frequently and consumers buy latest technology products Plug and play GPU is not useful in reality Atleast the pc design would be compact

bIf Anything is "DEAD" after you put your static hands on EVERYTHING, its blatantly his fault HOW can he no use static protection? I killed 1 graphics card (Cost $375 many years ago) just by touching it, next boot was all random colors & GPU was screwed, luckily, I told the seller it "just happened all of a sudden" so I got a replacement! The other time I killed a RAM stick that I sold a set of, I chose not to wear my Anti-static wrist band that time as well & the RAM stick was dead, instantly Also, NO, u dont "feel" a zap of anything when it happens either! So unlike Linus, be careful PLEASE!/b

since this board didn't seem to have a regular bios, it was probably set up for a particular xeon cpubr the cpu issues with windows could indicate that, besides you dont use desktop cpu's in commercial/industrial machines
