man, fortnite has really been declining in quality over the past 2 seasons LITERALLY WITH EVERY SINGLE THING GLITCHES, PERFORMANCE ISSUES, HALF ASSING UPDATES AND NOT DOING STUFF OR ADRESSING STUFF AT ALL

I fixed it for me, but i don't no exactly how In the gameusersettings is a setting "reflection quality" which is set to 3 If I set it to 0, the fps drops are mostly gone (The setting is at ScalabilityGroups, if you don't find it) Hope i could help you

I’d recommend switching to dx12 if you don’t have a trash gpu, even my rx570 handles dx12 pretty well with 120 stable(I’ve got it capped at 120) and just to mention you can have mobile builds on dx12 after uninstalling high resolution textures
