E39 530d has GM 5L40 gearbox that the maximum torque for this gearbox was 340Nm! Original 410Nm in 530d was already to much for this gearbox and they failed very often Putting 530Nm on that poor gearbox is asking for quick death Comment from : Adam Kmiecik |
