Had one of those for 13y and did 300k with it brbrThe automatic gearbox sucked ass and broke after a year (Engineering flaw) aside the M57 diesel engine is a beast These cars are well put together, nicely made interiors, impossible to wear outbrbrBut the electronics are its weak point Want a strong reliable one? Get the 530d manual with the least amount of options and electronic crap as possible Its greatbrbrOurs was fully maxxed out with every option and the things that failed aside from the gearbox were all just little things that didn’t really matterbrbrBut still sad for a 95k BMW The new ones aren’t worth that anymore for surr

Very good car with a great engine Had an e39 530d 5spd manual few years ago Was fully stock and recorded 0-100kmh 66sec which was actually pretty quick for an almost 20yr old diesel sedan what got 5l/100km at highway
